I’m Derek, the founder of Sonoma Energy. I’ve worked in sales and customer service since 2010, with experience in fitness, automotive sales, team leadership, and home acquisitions. Since entering solar in 2021, I’ve focused on helping homeowners understand how their energy choices fit their home, budget, and long-term goals.
For me, good guidance starts with listening. I take the time to walk through your utility bill, explain solar and battery options, and talk openly about the tradeoffs. My goal is to help you find a sense of calm in the decision-making process—space to ask questions, think things through, and move forward with confidence when you’re ready.
