Anonymous website activity

We may record page views, button clicks, form starts, referring page, campaign tags, device category, and general city or region. A random browser and session identifier helps us understand a visit without collecting a name, email address, phone number, utility bill, or full IP address in website analytics.

Information you submit

When you submit Build My Solar Plan or contact Sonoma Energy, we use the details you provide—including contact information, project answers, and an uploaded utility bill—to review your request and follow up. Submission details may be delivered to Sonoma Energy’s business email and customer-management system.

Attribution

If you submit a request, we may associate the anonymous visit history and original campaign source with that lead so we can understand how you found Sonoma Energy and improve the website.

Your choices

You can browse without submitting personal information. You may also clear browser storage to reset the anonymous identifier used on your device. Do not submit sensitive information that is not needed for a solar review; utility account numbers may be redacted.
